SO! I decided to share my wonderful birthday adventure in Disneyland/CA Adventures J it’s a little bit late, but I found extra time from my “Cinderella List” to blog about how I celebrated my 20th birthday! And honestly, this is one of theeeeeee best birthdays ever (:
And to keep that memory alive, I shall record from beginning to end on this wonderful adventure (:
So this morning was a bit rough because my mom and brother were cranky, and I was the only one…not cranky. So the car ride there was a drag cause there was so much negative vibes, and I couldn’t sing to any of the Disney songs which made me incredibly sad.. but it wasn’t till (for some odd reason) one of Britney Spear’s old songs started playing so I was all, “meh.” and I started singing~ theeeeeen, we got to the parking lot and that’s when all the negative tension slowly disappeared and we met up with Ralph! Then Ralph got to meet the mom and brother (but Patrick was really quiet which made me totally sad) and he accompanied me to Cars Land so we can get fast passes for Radiator Springs! So we stayed in line, and Ralph went to grab the World of Color tickets. After that, we walked back to Buena Vista St. to get my mom cause she was eating at Starbucks and Ralph and I just talked~ then I asked him where the bathroom was just so I could hear his white boy accent xD & that’s when he left~ and it was just us 3!
So I grabbed my mom, and we went to Elias & Co. so mom and pat can look around while I get my birthday pin! So I went up to a cast member and I asked him for a birthday pin, and he was all “It’s your birthday! Happy Birthday!” and then he asked me how old I was~ aaaannnd, if you know me, I will always reply, “guess.” At first he guessed, 19, and instead of going higher he went all the way down to 15. And after the countless “no” he was all, “Are you serious? You’re older!?” So I just smiled, and told him that I turned 20. Then~
After that we went to ride California Screaming and the whole time my mom just kept screaming that she was gonna kill us cause she couldn’t stand the rollercoaster. So instead of going on it again, she just told us that she was gonna wait in line for Luigi’s Flying Tires, so we were all “okaaaay…” So she left me and pat, and we rode on it again xD then we walked towards Cars Land, until I saw Donald… then I started jumping and I ran to his line lol. And while I was waiting in line, I bumped into my boss/middle school teacher. Yuuup, I saw Ms. Romero-Parks there and she wished me a Happy Birthday~ Then it was my turn to take a picture with Donald! So I ran up to him, hugged him and took a picture with him~ Then he kissed my hand, and I kissed his beak~ and he was blushing and it was sooo00oo0o0 cuute<3 I wish the cast member took a picture of that L( then I told pat that it was his turn, but he didn’t want to, then Donald got mad at him so he was forced into that picture lololol! Then we started walking, and along the way we took a picture with Buzz Lightyear, and I wished him luck on his mission to defeat Zurg and I saw Phineas and Furb, then I saw the wait time for the Little Mermaid Ride and it was 5 MINUTES!! So ofcourse I went and took a picture infront of Ariel<3 and I started singing along with the ride~ Theen, we went to go meet up with my mom and we rode Luigi’s Flying Tires, which was sooo much fuuun cause we kept leaning back and forth and sideways and we kept bumping into people lolol! Then we went to check on Radiator’s Spring and it broke down L so we went to Hollywood Tower of Terror and ofcourse! My mom didn’t wanna ride so it was just me and pat, and the wait time was surprisingly 15 minutes… After that all three of us went to the Sorcerer’s workshop so we could draw~ we ended up drawing tigger! Although my mom’s tigger was really weird… after that we went down to the workshop cause my mom was all curious and whatnot. So we went down and I showed mom the cartoon animation movements and me and pat kept drawing. Then we went to Beast’s Library to do the character quiz, aaaaaaaaand surprisingly my mom got Rapunzel.. I got Sally… and I forgot what Pat got…
After the workshop, we went to go check Radiator Springs again, only to find out it was still down.. so we went to eat at geraldi! Or ghiradelli .. whatver. And I tried the Domingo AND OMG IT WAS SOOO GOOD!! THE BANANAS WERE GOOD AND THE CHOCOLATE AND THE ICE CREAM AND WHATNOT! OMG. SO GOOD!!
Then we went to Disneyland so we can try out the new Matterhorn Bobsleds, and upon arriving there.. I SAW MICKEY AND HIS FRIEEEENDSS! So I took a picture with Mickey and he kissed my cheeks and hands, and I kissed him back and he was blushing<3 he put his hands over his eyes and was just asdfghjkl;lk! And I STILL WISH THE CAST MEMBERS TOOK A PICTURE OF IT! Theeen I went to Dale and did the same thing with Mickey, theen I saw Goofy! But he was so tall I couldn’t kiss him.. but I still took a picture with him (: I wish I could dance with him like on my 18th birthday….
After that, we met up with my mom on Matterhorn and omg.. that ride is a beezy. It hurts so much now.. and the ride is so slow and the turns just caused me immense pain. After that we rode space mountain and throughout the whole ride, I just sat there. I literally sat on that rollercoaster, did not scream, did not throw my hands up, just sat still. It wasn’t like I was having fun, there were times where I yelled, “OMG IT’S SO FAST” but I just wanted to see how it would be like if I didn’t scream. Annnd, it was pretty lovely. The scenery that is.. lol! The whole ride was double the scary and it was triple the speed.
Then we went back to CA Adv, and the Pixar Parade was about to start! So we sat down and waited, and we were lucky enough to get a front row type of sight~ so we sat, and I saw the Story Teller statue, and ofcourse! I had to get a picture with it again~ THEN! The parade started! And it was actually fun.. I didn’t expect the pixar parade to be like that.. So, ofcourse, I started waving and they all waved back at me T____T tears of joy. Then I saw Princess Atta and I waved at her! And she kept waving and staring my way so I just blew a kiss at her and she did that “Hot Chick” thing where she caught it and put it on her cheek and omg, it was so cute! And my mom saw it too lolol! I love it when characters do that..
Then when the parade was over we ate at…….. omg.
THE CARTHAY CIRCLE!! THE FREAKEN CARTHAY CIRCLE! That restaurant is so amazing.. like… I can’t even.. omg. I still cannot believe I ate there. Like the whole atmosphere, the portraits, the jazzy Disney songs, the history, the food and the cast member waiters and..omg.. there bathrooms. Like everything about that place makes me cry utter tears of joy. I get teary eyed just thinking about it.. but anyways, so the waiter sat us next to the terrace and omg, the view is just amazing.. and breathtaking, like you can see the whole Buena Vista St. and half of Paradise Pier. Omg the tears again.. okay. So we did the whole World of Color package thing where you have to get like the entrée, appetizer, dessert, the whole shebang. So we did it and it all came down to $129. But honestly, it was worth it cause the food was AMAZING!! For an appetizer I got their biscuits, and mom got their soup, and for our entrees mom and Patrick got steak and I got the Red thai udon aaaaaand for dessert Pat got the rockyroad brownie and as a special birthday treat I got two hazelnut chocolate truffle (: OMG! AND BEFORE I CONTINUE ON, LET ME SAY.. THE FREAKEN BATHROOMS… IT IS SO BIG, AND SO AMAZING!! THERE ARE STILL PORTRAITS THERE, AND THERE’S THIS HUGE ASS MIRROR, AND THE STALLS ARE SO BIG! LIKE IT’S SO BIG, THAT I FEEL LIKE I’M THE ONLY ONE IN THAT BATHROOM.. I WOULDN’T EVEN CALL IT A STALL I FEEL LIKE IT’S MY OWN TINY ROOM THAT CAME WITH A TOILET.
Okay I’m done..
So after that, my mom was craving for tea so we went to Starbucks where I saw Uncle Thomas!! And I said Hi~ and we talked for a little bit, cause the cashier was just standing there and it was like.. awkward…and it was even more awkward when I forgot my order.. lol. So we got our drinks, and sadly I couldn’t use my starbucks birthday rewards thing ): I forgot why… but I couldn’t use it )): but I still got a Disneyfied starbucks cup!<3
Then we started walking to the RESERVED AREA for world of colors (: and I saw Ralph! And I took a picture with him :3 then I sat and waited for the show..
THEN THE SHOW STARTED! And I sat and I was amazed..
THUS! Ending a wonderfully perfect night to celebrate my birthday (: This was definitely the best way to celebrate my 20th birthday. It just clicked that I spent my birthday in Disneyland for 3 straight years, buuuut! Sadly I can’t continue it for another year..
Instead, I decided for my 21st to just go to Temecula Winery and do some wine tasting and ride a hot air balloon. ): Tis sad, but I have to do it for the sake of my mom.. cause the whole time, even though she loves Disney and all the memories it holds for us as a family, she gets tired easily. But either way, I celebrated my birthday the way I hoped I would (: and it was the best way to start making some 2013 memories<33

I still can’t believe that two days ago I was standing next to the storyteller statue getting my picture taken. Eversince I heard about the story behind this statue and Buena Vista St. I’ve been dying to see it and now that I have, life has gotten a little bit better. Thank you Walt Disney for your inspiring story. #californiaadventure #storytellerstatue #buenavistast #disneyadventures #mysappycaption

day eleven: blacknwhite with @cristinaelenaa at ca adv. during my nineteenth birthday <3 #decemberchallenge #throwback
